Mikaela Sramek-Wills
Owner/Director
Mikaela has been dancing for the past 35 years and has studied all different styles of dance such as, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging, Pointe, Contemporary/Lyrical, Pom, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics. Throughout her dance experience she has performed at the Mall of America, Disney World and has performed on national television in the Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade several times.
She grew up in Valley, Nebraska and graduated with a degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. While earning her degree at UNO she was on the nationally ranked UNO Maverick Dance Team & the Semi Professional Omaha Beef Dance Team. She also coached Millard South High School dance team for two years, choreographed for the Omaha Beef, UNO Dance Team, Elkhorn Valley Community Theater & CCC Columbus Theater program. Mikaela has won many awards for her choreography, even a Grand National Championship. She also judges for dance competitions around the country.
Just recently, Mikaela received her certification with Dance Teacher University and UNLV. She loves to continue her education and bring new material to the studio each year.
Mikaela is married to Alan Wills and has three children,Marcus, Alivia & Matthew. She is very excited iDance is heading in it's fifteen year of business and is looking forward to many more years to come.
Nate Sramek
Associate Director
Nate has been dancing for the past 25 years. He has been trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Clogging, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Lyrical and Acrobatics. He danced in the Nutcracker through the Omaha Theatre Ballet and Bellevue Ballet Company multiple times. In high school was very active as a competitive dancer, participated in high school theatre and the Elkhorn Valley Community Theatre. Nate was also was recognized as NCA All Star Cheerleader. He has had the privilege to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, at the Mall of America and Disney World.
He has taught for several different dance studios located in Omaha and Kansas City throughout his career. Nate is an award winning choreographer for his clogging choreography. He has worked for dance competitions in the past and is currently judging for dance competitions on the weekends. Nate just recently received his certification in Acrobatic Arts. He is excited to share his knowledge with students at iDance.
Nate has always had a passion for dance ever since he was young. His purpose in life is to ignite passion of dance in others. He is looking forward to this new opportunity and is very excited to be working with his sister once again!
Rebecca Hemmer
Instructor
Rebecca Johnson has been dancing since the age of 7 and has never stopped. She started dancing at iDance in 2011 and has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Lyrical. She has been training to become a dance instructor for the past 7 years and is very excited to be a part of the staff at iDance.
Rebecca graduated from Lakeview High School and plans on attending CCC this Fall. She has two beautiful daughters & a son with her husband, Landon. She is excited for another year at iDance!
Elena Carter
Ballet Instructor
Born and raised in Seattle, Elena discovered her love for dance at a young age when she started taking ballet and hula dance classes. At the age of eight she was selected to study on scholarship through the DanceChance outreach program at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. After ten years, Elena graduated from PNB’s highest level and moved to Tucson to pursue a dance BFA at the University of Arizona. After four years of studying and performing, Elena graduated as the College of Fine Art’s Outstanding Senior. In addition, Elena earned a BA in Mathematics as well as a minor in Finance. Elena then joined American Midwest Ballet as an apprentice and was later promoted to Company Artist.
Throughout her professional career, Elena has performed numerous ballets in the Omaha area as well as on tour in Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida. This will be Elena’s eighth season dancing professionally with American Midwest Ballet and she has enjoyed performing featured roles in Erin Alarcon’s The Wizard of Oz, Ann Reinking’s staging of In the Style of Bob Fosse, Mariana Oliveira’s Death and the Maiden, Ray Mercer’s Speed Date, Erika Overturff’s The Bee’s Knees, as well as numerous other works. A highlight for Elena’s career has been performing as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker while guesting in Wichita, KS with Dance Kinetics.
Elena has taught ballet, pointe, pre-pointe, variations, lyrical and stretch in studios throughout Omaha, Eastern Nebraska and Council Bluffs. She also enjoys running rehearsals and supporting her students at dance competitions whenever she can. Elena is so excited to join iDance Project this fall!

Vicky Sramek

We are happy to have Vicky at iDance! With both of her children Mikaela & Nate, in dance throughout their life, she has gained a lot of experience from the dance world. Vicky has worked in the corporate world in Account Receivable and has managed several different businesses. She is happy to be with work with her children and is excited for this new adventure.
Gessica Ackman
Instructor
This is Gessica's third year teaching at iDance! She started dancing at the age of 4 and continued dancing/choreographing throughout college at CCC and for the WSC Aristocats. She has been married to her husband Scott for 9 years and have 2 children, Everlie and Porter. Everlie dances competitively at iDance and Porter enjoys playing soccer. Gessica is also a huge dog lover! We have 3 dogs; Hershey, Stormie, and Nellie. She has always had a love and passion for dance and is excited to continue being a part of dance through teaching!
Logan Korus
Instructor
Logan Korus has been dancing since the age of 13 and has enjoyed every minute of it. She started dancing at in 2010 when iDance opened it's doors. She has studied Jazz, Hip Hop, Pom and Lyrical. She has been training to become a dance instructor for the past couple of years and is very excited to be a part of the staff at iDance.
Logan graduated from Lakeview High School and was on the iDance Competition team for 4 years. She teaches the Adaptive dance program at IDP!
